After a year…

Logged in after more than a year (edited article on Dec 25, 2019)…so what happened past 365+ days?

A lot of things…All mostly good…

1. I managed to get clients and bring in the dollar money — yup! much higher than my country currency! so woot woot!
2. I managed to retain my clients (albeit, lost a handful too), some for more than a year and under renewal consideration as we speak
3. Networked at least a 10,000% more than my threshold and comfort zone
4. Built prospects to expand the business into new ventures (piqued a VCs interest)
5. Had 3 job offers (which I rejected, cause I run a business now :D) and
6. Created credibility such that folks reached out for me to invest in their ventures/ideas
7. Moved from a job seeker to job creator
8. Created 6 months runway in terms of capital

A lot of learnings and not exactly how things were expected to go as well

1. Lost Clients and were bullied and not paid even with a legal contract in place.
2. Could not build a team
3. Hands full with the current set of clients and hence could not do more sales and bring in new clients
4. Hopeless emotionally and under exceptional stress. The negative undercurrent and the constant arguments/abuse going on inside the brain is beyond exhausting.

Overall, the gains were in terms of bank balance, and losses were in terms of mental health with fear, low confidence and fatigue definitely overpowering the bank balance security built.

Is the solution a much higher account balance or improving stress elements such that there is more peace of mind is unknown at this point — although that is the popular opinion!

Goals for TWENTY TWENTY:

1. Build a Personal Brand (should stop being anonymous to begin with I reckon)
2. Showcase Subject matter expertise in media
3. Network and build connections to last.
